Timber Creek offers custom cut lumber and panels. This is a very popular service we offer to our customers who prefer to have the exact size materials they need with no waste.
Resawing is the process of splitting 1" through 12" hardwood or softwood lumber into two or more thinner pieces of full length boards. For example, splitting a ten foot 2x4 into two ten foot 1x4s is considered resawing.
We have two high speed McDonough re-saws, and two thin kerf Baker re-saws to offer the highest turnaround time without sacrificing quality.
In addition to resawing lumber, we can also "rip" boards with single or multiple blades. Ripping is the process of splitting 1" through 12" hardwood or softwood lumber into two or more narrower pieces of full length boards. For example, splitting a ten foot 2x4 into two ten foot 2x2s is considered ripping.
Cutting to Length
We have bunk saws capable of cutting full units or sorted amounts to any size within an 1/8" tolerance, high speed cut-off saws for high volume and precision cutting, and chop saws for the custom and low volume jobs.
Cutting to Size (Panel Products)
We use an advanced, computerized Holzma panel saw that keeps us on the cutting edge of technology. The Holzma panel saw is capable of cutting multiple pieces from 4' x 8' panels with high speed and accuracy.
